Hungary is able to sustain its leading position in the field of dental tourism thanks to the highly educated groups of dentists, who have proved their professional expertise in 100?s of 1,000?s of operations in the last 3 decades.

Even before the political transition in 1989, Southern German, Austrian and Swiss clients poured into the western part of Hungary to seek the services of a highly developed, but low cost health system.

As a socialist country, Hungary had a highly developed health system, from which the most advanced branch was, and still is, dentistry.
